Suspentune Refund/Returns Policy
As per Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. Should Suspentune accept a return, a 10% restocking fee will be implemented and deducted from any refund. Any freight cost will be borne by you, the consumer.
You can choose to return or request an exchange if the item has a major defect which prevents the product being used for its designed purpose. If the product has been used on the car and is therefore able to be used for it's designed purpose, it cannot be returned. Please ensure fitment is correct prior to operating the vehicle with the product installed.
If the problem is not major, we retain the right to repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you may request a return or exchange. Suspentune reserves the right to determine whether the components are repairable or to be replaced.
All claims for items damaged in transit must be completed within 7 days of receipt of goods. Claims for transit damage will not be possible if not made within this timeframe as it exceeds the terms and conditions of the carriers.
In most cases, we cannot accept returns or order cancellations if you change your mind for third party items that are specifically ordered in, produced to order, or assembled to fulfil individual orders. If a return is accepted, at the discretion of Suspentune, on these products, it will be subject to a restocking charge of that will vary between 15% and 25%.
Without exception, no returns will be accepted more than 30 days after purchase.
If an incorrect item was sold and/or shipped, or the incorrect price charged, Suspentune reserves the right to cancel the order.
The responsibility for the return of the item lies with the consumer. Suspentune holds no responsibility for items which are lost or damaged in return transit. Refunds will only be approved for items which return in resalable, saleable condition.
For orders cancelled prior to dispatch an admin processing fee of 10% is applicable.
No Products are to be returned to Suspentune without written consent – all return requests should be directed to sales@suspentune.com.au. All return postage costs are responsibility of the purchaser.
Liability for additional costs
Suspentune shall not be liable for any expense incurred by the customer in order to remedy any defect in its products. Suspentune will not cover removal or postage costs required to give effect to this warranty.
Platinum Mechanical & Suspension Products
All products sold by Platinum Mechanical & Suspension / Platinum Automotive Fabrication may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a store credit if the product is damaged or faulty.
Returns will be assessed and either repaired or replaced if the product is found to be Damaged or Faulty.
All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number, and freight charges are strictly non-refundable. No returns will be accepted on opened, installed or otherwise used products. Failure to comply with the terms stated herein, may result in delayed processing and/or refusal of return. Items that were shipped incorrectly, or have been damaged in transit, must be reviewed by a member of our customer service team.
Items that are custom made to order including but not limited to Snorkels, Custom Airboxes, Exhausts, Engine upgrade pipes for example will not be eligible for a refund based on change of mind purchases.
Please make sure that returned orders are shipped well and the product and packaging is not damaged. Any damage may attract a re-boxing cost. Do not attach the return shipping label to the product packaging and this will VOID the return.
All other items that are available for return will attract a 15% Return Fee when refunding via your original purchase method, fees from merchants including Afterpay and Paypal are non-refundable. You can opt to instead receive store credit applied to your customer account for 100% of the original purchase price.
Non returnable
Any clearance items, or Special order items & custom fabricated items are not eligible for return unless an agreement is made with Platinum Mechanical & Suspension / Platinum Auto Fab in writing prior to the purchase.
Transactional costs
Due to the associated transactional costs from the use of Afterpay and PayPal, any order cancelled using either payment method will attract a 3-6% processing fee. Swapping to another product will not attract any cancellation fee. Please note that cancellation fees if applicable is added to the processing fee.
